ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Compile and analyze data over time to forecast sales trends.
  • Communicate with management team regularly.
  • Review past sales data to determine trends in productivity.
  • Prepare accurate reports using data from internal and external sources.
  • Evaluate third-party data to determine best practices for company success.
  • Present actionable information and insights to team members and management.
  • Gather and analyze data to understand problems and address them proactively.
  • Collaborate with team members and members of other departments.
  • Monitoring and analyzing competitive activity, customer, and market trends.
  • Providing actionable insights to guide the sales and marketing teams.
  • Contributing to the development of sales plans and objectives.
  • Monitoring and evaluating sales performance.
  • Analyze sales and operations data to identify opportunities and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for executive management.
  • Utilize Power BI and other tools to extract and transform data into meaningful insights.
  • Create and manage dashboards/reports using various tools such as CRM.
  • Attends and participates in sales strategy meetings.
  • Leads informational sessions for staff to explain sales trends and new marketing strategies.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrates proficiency in the use of sales forecasting software.
  • Possesses knowledge of the industry or market in which he or she is conducting analyses.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Speaks confidently and articulately in front of a group.
  • Possesses strong math skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to think both analytically and creatively.
  • Possesses strong problem-solving skills.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively.
  • Pays close attention to detail.
  • Manages time efficiently.
  • Works well with a team.
  • Possesses strong writing skills.
  • Capable of conducting independent research.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • 3+ years in an analytical or operations role.
  • SQL, SSRS or Power BI knowledge a plus.
  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
  • One who thrives in a faced paced environment.
  • Experience in sales analysis a plus.
  • Strong research and data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and CRM software.
